It is Written

"Jesus provided far more God-revealing signs than are written down in this book. These are written down so you will believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and in the act of believing, have real and eternal life in the way he personally revealed it." John 20:30-31 MSG

Scriptures declare that the spoken word is God's way to perform miracles.

The written Word is God's way to make people believe -- the Book of John being a good place to start.

The entire bible contains the words "it is written" about 100 times (more or less, depending on the version).

It is mostly used by the gospel writers, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John as well as Paul, particularly in his letters to the Corinthian and Roman churches. (The believers in Corinth and Rome were probably the most hard headed among the early believers, outside of Israel.)

God did not provide any other means by which people (other than Jesus) to believe in Him.

Word

The same way God spoke miracles to happen, Jesus did the same to back up His Word that He is the Son of God. And these was written down and survived to this day.

The miraculous things Jesus performed backed up His claim. Jesus of Nazareth is the Son of God, the promised Savior as prophesied and written over a thousand years before He came.

And by believing what is written about Him, God provided a way for us, to open our eyes so we can see, open our ears so we can hear, open our hearts so we can feel and open our minds so we can know the Truth, the Way and the Life, and for us, God's lost children to be reunited back to Him and have eternal life with Him and His Son.

We are not what we think we are. If you want to find out who, what, how and why -- start with reading the Book of John.

And continue reading the words that make up the entire New Testament.
