Feeding the Lambs - The 7th Day
"On the seventh day God was finished with his work which he had made, so he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
God blessed the seventh day and separated it as holy; because on that day God rested from all his work which he had created, so that it itself could produce."
Genesis 2:2-3
[7th message of the New Believer Series]
So this is the 7th day of this series. If you read it, you might recall that back in the very 1st message that this series is intended for new believers.
We then had the first three messages which basically served as the introduction and the next three as the intermediary. And then this 7th message which if I have to say it, is our last stop for non-believers.
7th Day
As we read an excerpt from the Book of Genesis, the first book of the Old Testament bible, God rested on the 7th day. Some Christians believe that to be a literal seven 24-hour earth day (man day). But of course it could also be 7 God days, which we do not even know how long one (God day) is. A God day could be a thousand man years, could be a million years, could be a billion years. (Or it could be a nano second).
Anyway, the point is God rested on the 7th "day" after all the work has been done. Everything that was needed to be done was done before humankind was created (on the 6th day).
In the same way, we are going to have to assume that by the 6th message, God's work has all been done. And we are assuming, moving forward that all of us reading this and from this message onwards are believers of Christ Jesus.

If we still have a lot of doubt, then we may need to start this again, starting from the 1st message or start with the Rebirth Series, as was suggested on that first New Believer's message.
The Lord's Day
It is also interesting to note here that the 7th day we can equate to the Lord's Day or even to the day Jesus rose from the grave. That day is Sunday*, the first Resurrection Sunday (or Easter Sunday)

Day of Rest
This 7th day is a day of rest -- a day that we can take a break from 6 days of work and daily grind. And it also is the day that believers can meet up and come together (or the day they come to "church").
If you have no local church in your area to go to or if it is physically impossible for you to be at "church", or if churches are not allowed to open, then as we have mentioned time and again, this cyber church is open and available for you.
We have also opened up a way to "meet up" or come together. And thus fulfilling the words of Jesus to go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.
Also please continue reading through the Gospels and the Book of Acts.
