Each year, millions of people celebrate Valentines Day on February 14th.

Yes it is a day of love. And it is not just for lovers. And it shouldn't be just for one day, but everyday, for love makes the world go round.

Love Songs

People have been composing love songs, love poems and love messages for a long time.

We sing them, we declaim them, we profess them and we cherish them, for love is a very powerful emotion.

Loving someone and being loved back in return is a wonderful thing. It is a gift from God (yes the famous John 3:16 verse).

God is Love

In the excerpt above, the Apostle John again said, love comes from God, and when we love one another, it will show that we have been given new life -- this new life in Christ.

As (new) believers, we are now God’s children, and that we know God.

God is love, and so anyone who doesn’t love has not known Him who is love.

Christ Gave Us New Life (and New Love)

God showed his love for us when he sent his only Son into the world to give us life.

God sent his Son to be the sacrifice by which our sins are forgiven.

Real love isn’t our human love or even our love for God, but it His love for us, His children.
