Wisdom - Binge Read or Binge Watch the Truth

In this series of lessons we are highlighting two-liner verses from the Book of Proverbs.
Jewish Scriptures
The Book of Proverbs is a compilation of old sayings of the Old Testament Jewish people.
So much of these pearls of wisdom has helped generations of people live good lives. It will be foolish of us not to study these or at least not read them. It is particularly unwise to make mistakes already committed by so many others in history plus not try to learn from their mistakes.
So many students say why do they teach such subjects, courses and topics which will have no life application or things that we will not use in our daily life. Yes this is partly true, especially of a few courses of study.
But schooling is important. Education is important. Reading is important. Learning is important.
Christian Scripture
And the most important is truth. Now there is one person in recorded history who said "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life". And several billion people believe Him.
Learning about this Man is something we owe ourselves to do.
To do this, the Book of Luke if we haven't fully read it yet, is a good book to start on. Then continue on with it's sequel, The Book of Acts.
On average each book will take two hours and few minutes to read (this will be just like watching two full length movies back to back).
We can read one book in one sitting, or read a few chapters (for a few minutes) a day. And depending on our pace, we will be done in a few days or a few weeks. This is like binge watching a series in Netflix, Prime or any other streaming site.
There are also movies and TV Series which were made based off of these two books (these couldl be longer of course but also an option to consider if we want to go watch those instead). Or we can listen to audio versions (lots of options online as well).

Anything we decide on doing, is up to us, but as we've said we owe it to ourselves to read through these two books as least once in our life -- to sit down and decide to slice a short piece of time out of our life to do so. And whatever we decide later on after we have done so, is up to us.
