Last & Final Call

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

John 3 :16 in the New King James Version

[This is the 5th and last of a mini-series of lessons (within a series)]

It is recommended that you start this reading with the lesson titled "If There's A Will, There's A Plan" and work your way through the list of lessons.

Please do so, before you proceed.

Time May Be Running Out

You may have already heard of Jesus Christ once, twice, or one too many times, enough to say your eardrums are aching -- enough with this nonsense. We understand. Every true believer felt the same way, before they believed and until they considered the possibility of "what if it was true".

Certainly not, but what if was was? What if what was written about the Messiah, and what if the books which talk about what Jesus of Nazareth have said about Himself were true?

That would surely be not an impossibility.

Highly improbable you may argue. But, not entirely impossible. We've certainly believed in things less likely to be true than that. Truth is stranger than fiction.

So in this one moment of weakness, this single moment of "why not", why shouldn't you try to investigate for yourself, like how award winning investigative reporter Lee Strobel did in the movie we watched  from the previous lessonbased on his own journey from unbelief?

Why not give God a chance?

Case For God, By A Person Named Karen No Less, Why Not Right?

Or you can listen to Mr. Strobel when some years back he taught a lesson on When You Are Mad At God. I mean, I understand when you are angry at someone you know. But how can you be angry at someone, or even talk about someone, if you really do not know that person? It's weird to be angry at God when you don't believe there is a God, yet a lot of people are like that. And without actually being aware of it consciously, it actually reveals that they may unconsciously or subconciously believe that there might be a God.

Anyway, any moment now someone might consciously or unconsciously start World War III, and the earth as we know it might not be here tonorrow. So instead of thinking about something else, why not consider the small chance that the most widely quoted bible verse, John 3:16 may actually be true.

Challenge

In the next 16 days, why not take this challenge? Why not binge watch the first two seasons (16 episodes) of The Chosen and binge listen to the Audio Version of the Gospel of Mark (also 16 chapters)?

(If we watch one episode and one book daily, starting today we will need to watch two on the first or the last day to finish by Resurrection Sunday (Easter). Or we can always binge watch in a day, or a weekend or a handful of days, our choice.]

John 3:16-18 In the Message Paraphrase Version

“This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person’s failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him."
