Wisdom - A Different Fire
"When you run out of wood, the fire goes out; when the gossip ends, the quarrel dies down." Proverbs 26:20 [This is the 21st message in this series] In this series we are highlighting two-liner verses from the Book of Proverbs. Busybodies Apostle Paul in one of his letters to the first church in the City of Thessalonica warned them like this: " We hear that some among you are idle and disruptive. They are not busy; they are busybodies." In those days some people have quit working, assuming the Lord was coming back very soon (even though Jesus have said many times that no one knows the day or the hour of His return). So with nothing to do, these people were doing things they ought not to be doing, like putting themselves in the middle of other people's business and gossipping about them.
