Jesus knew that He needed to intercede on our behalf because we too like Him and His followers, will undergo our own trying times. And He already sent word to Our Father about us. It is also the time to thank God for His faithfulness. And to pause to bask in this surreal moment. It was another difficult year of course. It has been for billions of people around the world. We are not alone.  It has actually been two straight challenging years for most. But through it all, we can still sense that God was working behind the scenes. God has brought us through what some might consider their most trying times. And at this moment in time it is important to receive God's joy and peace. The world's joy and the world's pe

But things that can’t be seen last forever." - Apostle Paul, 1st century 2nd Letter to the Corinthian Church The year 2020 may be coming to a close but surely the hiccups, the speed bumps, the trials and the suffering it has brought is still with us. Welcome 2021 The incoming new year is upon us and a new beginning is what we need to look at and not the disaster and the disappointments of the outgoing year. We shouldn't be discouraged even though there may be good reasons for us to do so. Our current condition and suffering are temporary and does not compare to what our Lord is preparing for us for eternity.

Happy New Year. Happy New Decade. Happy New You. Let us leave the old behind. Look at 2020 as a bright and blessed new year and new decade.

They were transformed. This new year, we too can be transformed and live out new lives, not because of our new year's resolutions which no one can really carry out or because we want to be good people. We, like the first believers can be transformed, once we meet God. And having received Him, His Spirit then comes and lives in us, speaking to us ever so gently, molding us, changing us from the inside out. Such is the life that has been transformed -- a life reborn. Reborn not of the flesh, not by our own abilities, but by and of the Spirit. God is Spirit and those who

New Year's Resolution Every new year brings in a new opportunity to be a new if not better you. But year in and year out our new year's resolutions only last a few weeks, if not a few days. And then when the inevitable happens -- when we break our resolution, we end up feeling bad and quit trying to be a better person until the next new year. And each year it's the same new determination to do good or to be good, and most times, the same results, disappointment. What most people have yet to realize is that by ourselves,  we cannot be good.  We can try but then eventually we stumble,  we falter and we fail.  And because of that,  so many of us just quit trying altogether. Real Change 2nd Corinthians 5:17 says, If anyone belongs to Christ, there is a new creation. The old things have gone,  everything is made new!  (NCV)  If we allow God, He will change us from the inside out and real and lasting change happens. It's not like we just put on new clothes,
