And it should be obvious. Because they are followers of Christ. In the same way, Christian preaching and sermons ought to be about Christ. Israel Early First Century In the short time when Jesus walked the earth, the most prominent interpreters and teachers of God's law in the Promised Land were the Pharisees. Nicodemus was one of those so-called Pharisees.
